The message at ANF-GEM Bakal 3’s Sunday service on August 11th, 2024, centered around the verse “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:6). This powerful reminder of our faith journey resonated with the congregation.
The sermon compared our Christian lives to a marathon, not a quick sprint. It emphasized the importance of staying strong in our faith, even when things get tough. The image of “finishing the race” was especially meaningful, reminding us that our faith isn’t just about starting, but about reaching the goal.
The worship music, filled with uplifting songs, added to the message of perseverance. It created an atmosphere of hope and reminded us that we’re not alone in our struggles. We’re part of a community of believers, supporting each other on this journey.
As we think about the service, we’re encouraged to reflect on our own lives. Are we running our own “race” with purpose and dedication? Are we letting distractions slow us down? Or are we focused on the finish line, trusting in God’s guidance to help us reach victory?
